A Missouri native, Nicole L. Sublett graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1992 and Westminster College in 1996. Ms. Sublett attended law school at Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, OR, where she graduated with honors in 1999. Ms. Sublett began her legal career with a small firm in Jefferson City where she practiced primarily in civil litigation. In 2001, Ms. Sublett joined the Missouri Attorney General's Office where she served in the Health Licensing Unit as counsel to the licensing boards that regulate nurses, doctors, dentists, nursing home administrators and other various health-care providers. Ms. Sublett gained extensive experience in litigation and health-care issues during her service with the Attorney General.
